My Yoga Journey
Yoga has always been a part of my life. Growing up in India, I watched my parents practice yoga as a way of life, deeply rooted in tradition and mindfulness. But it was during the COVID-19 pandemic, after experiencing a deeply personal loss, that I truly understood its profound impact on the mind, body, and spirit. Yoga became my sanctuary—not just as a physical practice but also through meditation and breathwork, I found peace, balance, and self-acceptance.
This reminds me of a beautiful Yoga Sutra that resonates deeply with me:
‘सन्तोषात् अनुत्तमः सुखलाभः’ (Santosat Anuttamah Sukhalabhah) – meaning true happiness comes from contentment.
Training at a well-known institute in Rishikesh, the birthplace of yoga, allowed me to immerse myself in traditional teachings that go beyond physical postures. This deep-rooted knowledge enables me to bring an authentic, holistic approach to my classes, helping students experience both the physical and spiritual benefits of yoga.
Apart from yoga, you’ll often find me whipping up delicious meals in the kitchen, getting lost in long scenic walks, or chasing breathtaking mountain views on a hike. I can talk to my family for hours on the phone, pour my heart out through singing, and let my creativity flow through drawing. These little joys keep me grounded, inspired, and connected to the world around me!

Experience & Certifications
I am a 200 hrs Certified Yoga Teacher with additional training in Prenatal Yoga (85 Hours), Restorative Yoga (25 Hours), and Aerial Yoga. My experience allows me to blend traditional yoga with personalized modifications for diverse practitioners.
